from the Pacific Northwest where we are finally getting

 a bit of summer and hoping that it will stay!

June has been a bittersweet month for us here at Sweet Sketch Wednesday as we have lost two of our fabulous design team members.  This will be Patti Painter's last week with us here at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. We hate to see her leave.   Last week we had to inform you that Genevieve was leaving.  We love these gals so much.  We will miss their wonderful talent but know that they will continue to create and inspire others and hope that they will be back to visit us often and maybe even join us again on the DT.  Thanks so much for all your hard work week after week.

 a former DT member returned to SSW! 

For those of you who do not know, Erika is my niece!

She is a wonderful mother of two children and

an incredible school teacher.

Digi Stamp Characters and Sketch 158-45

My Hydrangeas

Hello my friends, Patti posting this morning from Virginia where we have had an early Spring and as such our flowers, grass and hay are growing and thriving! This is a picture of some of my dwarf hydrangea that we planted in our front bed a couple of years ago, they are one of my favorite flowers and I hope you enjoy them as well.

Can you believe we are in the second week of June with Father's Day this Sunday? I hope if your father is still with you that you have a wonderful weekend, my father passed away a few years ago and I still miss him so much but have wonderful memories of our time together. He was a Godly man who never met a stranger, with a sense of humor and a kindness for all.

Here is a little something about Krista.

My name is Krista Smith. I am the artist behind the Etsy shop, Saturated Canary Digis. I began working in the stamping world about a year ago when I was hired to create rubber designs for the sweet Scottish company, Sugar Nellie. They launched my artwork under the name 'Simply Sassy.' I moved into the digital world just this past month (it's been a super busy month, indeed!). And-- I love it!! There is a little more freedom here, as I can create anything that pops into my head:)! I am so humbled by the artistic talent of the girls coloring in my designs-- it is truly an inspiration!
