Here is a little something about Heather and Fresh Brewed Designs.

I am Heather Dennis, the artist and owner of Fresh Brewed Designs, but first and foremost I am the wife of one amazing husband, mother of two sweet and talented kids. I homeschool and LOVE coffee, creating and chatting with my friends. Fresh Brewed Designs is an online shop that opened in November 2010. We sell a wide variety of rubber and digital stamps as well as specializes in many coffee themed images.
It started with a dream and turned into something bigger. With the prodding of a very supportive husband, family and friends, with a lot of help and a lot of headaches:) and a lot of lessons and prayers.... Fresh Brewed Designs has become a place to share, create, laugh and build lasting friendships.

Out motto: Fresh Brewed Designs... where creativity is brewed fresh daily.

We always have a pot brewing, so stop by and join us for a cuppa whenever you want!

SSW #186 – Bugaboo

Happy Boxing Day

to our UK and Canadian friends.

I wanted to share a tradition from MY part of the world. In six days, we will all celebrate the new year but here in the Springs ... we do it a unique way. That's because each year the AdAmAn club climbs the icy slopes of Pikes Peak. This is the mountain made famous by Katherine Lee Bates, who after making her climb penned the song, "America the Beautiful".

At the stroke of midnight on New Year's Eve, AdAmAn members (thus named because each year they "add" a member to their club) ignites a glorious fireworks display from the summit to usher in the New Year. This spectacular fireworks display can be seen for hundreds of miles along the Front Range of the Colorado Rockies and eastern plains. Aside from the fact that it's pretty ... the reason that we Coloradoans are so impressed with AdAmAn is that the climb is often accomplished on icy slopes with wind chills of -50 degrees Fahrenheit. Yikes, that's a tad chilly!

We at Sweet Sketch Wednesday hope that your

 2013 is fantastic!

We had a great response from last week's players. Such WONDERFUL creations were posted that we had a difficult time narrowing it down. But every contest must have a winner and here is last week's winner.

Congratulations ... It's YOU ~ Mynnette

On to this week's challenge...

We are so excited to have Jodi from Bugaboo Stamps as our sponsor this week.  I LOVE Bugaboo stamps.  She seems to have something that fits everyone's crafting style.

Everything That You Ever Wanted to Know About Bugaboo Stamps:

As if raising five children in the frozen land of the North was not enough of a challenge, Jodie Mackrell decided to dip her cold little Canadian toes into the world of paper-crafting by opening an online store full of her illustrations. That was two years ago. Today Bugaboo Stamps is one of the leading companies in digital images, and we're still growing! From seriously snarky to sugary sweet to sublimely soulful all the way over to the other side of the super sexy spectrum, you're bound to find all that you need and more to create your paper projects. Jodie works very hard to provide New Releases and Freebies every week!

Check out all the cool stuff on the Bugaboo website

Our prize this week is 7 (yep, count 'em) SEVEN digistamps from the Bugaboo site.  Yah-hooo!

Here is this week's sketch ... hold on to your britches friends, it's a fun one.
