SWEET SKETCH WEDNESDAY
from Pukekohe in the North Island of New Zealand.
Well Spring has sprung here in New Zealand, we are having some amazing days some are very warm and the others are very changeable, typical Spring weather. If you were in the South Island during the weekend it Snowed and for us in the North Island Friday & Saturday were lovely days and Saturday evening was really cold it felt a little like winter again. Sunday I was off to play Tennis with my boys and it rained all day so they were very disappointed. I was also NOT as I knew they would beat me.
New Zealander's are still coming down to earth after our wonderful
"All Blacks"
won the world cup in Rugby. They waited for 24 years to win this Trophy and now it's come home where it belongs again and will stay in
New Zealand for another 4 years.
We are the Champions of the World.
The "All Blacks" doing the Haka before every game.
If you've never seen the Haka performed it runs shivers
down your spine and makes your hairs on your arms stick up.
If you've never seen it performed before here's a YouTube
link for you to be entertained.

Haka (singular is the same as plural: haka) is a traditional ancestral war cry, dance or challenge from the Maori People of New Zealand. It is a posture dance performed by a group, with vigorous movements and stamping of the feet with rhythmically shouted accompaniment. The New Zealand Rugby Team's practice of performing a haka before their matches has made the dance more widely known around the world.
Enjoy.
