Sweet Sketch Wednesday #215 and Digi Samp Boutique

Soooo, another Wednesday is upon us and that means here at Sweet Sketch Wednesday, it is time for another challenge.  

These Wednesdays seem to be flying by.  Summer has finally arrived here in the UK and looks set to stay for the first time in a few years.

I love summer and for me, summer here is epitomised with the traditional cricket game on a Sunday afternoon and strawberries from the garden.  You really couldn't get any more English.  

I am really enjoying the bumper crop of strawberries that is coming from my little garden this year - fresh ones every night for dessert, and on my little walk around the local park on Sunday, low and behold a cricket match was taking place.  For those of you not from the UK, sorry I couldn't explain the rules of cricket if I tried or even try to explain it at all, but nothing beats lazing around on a Sunday afternoon in the park with a game of cricket taking place in the background.

So, it really does feel like summer to me.  Now, if I just didn't have to go to work and could enjoy the sunshine while it lasts.

    Good morning everyone this is the second time typing this comment, I started last night on my sons I-pad in front of the fire and watching TV, and listening to my hubby and two sons playing Monopoly until 11pm and there was so much wheeling and dealing going on and cheating I lost my train of thought and yes I lost the lot so here I go again. Thank goodness it's the school holidays as my boys should have been in bed my 9pm. Congratulations to our winner Lori and to our Top 3 cards awesome work ladies. Thanks to Sally-Ann for being our sponsor this week, we all really appreciate it and love working with your wonderful images. I just love my image this week it's just so cute. Thanks Sally for another lovely sketch to work with and to Holly love your posting of your lovely hot summer in England. If you ever want to know more about Cricket my friend, just let me know as both of my boys have played since they were 5 years old. I've coached a junior team for many years and also done my share of umpiring and scoring a game in a cricket score book which is a total work of art as you really have to keep your wits about you.     Happy Wednesday Everyone! Yes, the weeks are flying by for me too! I cannot believe that it is the middle of July! We have had fabulously weather in the Northwest for 6 weeks now!
