Sweet Sketch Wednesday 185 ~ Digi Stamp Boutique

Hello Sweet Sketch Wednesday followers!  We are so glad to have you visit us again this week!  This is Judi posting for you.  Today is a very special day for me....my 37th wedding anniversary!!!  Where does the time go!  Seems like I was just having my own babies and now I am enjoying my grand babies!

Well, we have less than a week before Christmas arrives.  I hope you are enjoying the holiday season and planning a special day with your family or friends. In light of the terrible tragedy that occurred on Friday in Connecticut with the loss of 20 precious children, 7 adults and the gunman, I hope we will all take a moment and pray for peace in the world and comfort for all those who are suffering from this senseless loss and other tragedies. I know this isn't a religious blog but I do want to say that I believe in a loving Father in Heaven and His son, Jesus Christ, our Savior, who died for each one of us that we may someday return and live with them again. What a privilege it is to celebrate the birth of our Savior and rejoice in His life and the atonement that he has so graciously offered each of us.  He lives and loves each one of us. He is the Light and Hope of the world.  May your holiday be bright with new hope for better days ahead.  Remember to give your children, grand children and all your loved ones an extra hug tonight!

Happy Anniversary Wishes to you Judi and Kathie!!
Judi, I just love your post - Last Friday when the tragedy in CT became known, and I heard of the deaths, all I could envision was Heaven's Gates open wide for those 20 children and Jesus welcoming them into His loving arms... There is comfort in Him! Praying for peace and comfort for the families and friends left behind.
    Love & Hugs - Sally

  7. Such a beautiful message. I can't hear it too much. I feel like I could listen to President Monson talk all day long. I love this time of year when so many others remember him in their lives and pray for it to last all year. Maybe then tragedy will not befall our children anymore. Thank you for putting it on your blog. With love and wishes for a Merry Christmas to you and yours. Robin
